Open Hours tonight 5/30/2017

We are having our usual open hours tonight. Bring something to work on and/or show off!

Last week, there was a huge 3D printer (12x12x15.75 build area) and a very well done home etched circuit board. What will be there tonight?

I might show up as early as 5 tonight, but definitely earlier than the usual 7 - I have a 3D printing project that may take a while.

Ok, so somehow AN EVEN BIGGER 3D Printer showed up at the space tonight(it had a build area of 1m x 1m x 700mm) - the 200 Series from here: https://3dplatform.com/workseries/

One of their service/demo technicians happened to be in the area and stopped by. Really cool looking.

Also, I’m having some pretty good results (if really slow) in 3D printing with flexible filament (Inland TPE from Micro Center). It took 71 minutes to print a lego keychain (vs 9-10 minutes for PLA), but it did finish, and it’s nice & squishy.
