As I had mentioned earlier, we are now the owners of a new used almost-floor-standing drill press.

It needs some work, but it was a heck of a deal at $63. Thanks HGR!

Additionally, we also got a metal-cutting horizontal (& technically vertical, if we get/fabricate some additional parts) band saw. We’ll need to make a stand for it, but luckily we have a large quantity of steel square tube around (and if we temporarily attach this to a bench, something to cut it with ;-))
