Hi guys!

I've been in touch with Sam now for a number of years and have attend a Maker meeting or two.  Some of you guys know me, but for those that don't, I'm working on a project with a nonprofit, Esperanza, on educating kids with cool crafts where they make their own environment out of clay, 3D printed objects, and other types of materials in order to learn science.  The environmental theme is nature, specifically gardening.  Kids will be able to create their environment, learn from it and then be able to use this understanding making their own garden outside.  I can see eventually using the Raspberry Pi in the garden too.  I'm really excited about this project and  I'm reaching out because I need help, and cannot do this alone. I'm basically going through all the NGSS standards and tying all the ideas to it.

I need help with the following:

  • Printing out 3D objects that have been created already
  • Anyone interested in leading raspberry pi projects in relationship to gardening
  • Anyone interested in creating awesome videos of content and crafting cool environments

You can email me directly at:  lewis.meli...@gmail.com or reply to this discussion.

Thanks!
Melissa
