Hi there,

I've been successfully printing PLA on my M2 for months - up until yesterday, when I changed the filament (same brand, just a different roll). My prints are now coming out delaminated - fracturing into layers. Despite turning up the temperature from 200 degrees c to 225 degrees c.

Could anyone suggest what measures I could take to try remedy this? Incidentally, the prints are also coming out Matt Black, vs Gloss Black.

Thanks for any advice,

Graham

If the only thing you’ve changed is a different roll of the same brand of filament, the problem has to be with THAT roll.  Try swapping out the roll and see if it goes back to normal.  If that’s the case, most reputable filament companies will immediately replace a faulty roll.  If you’re buying via Amazon, you might check customer reviews of that company.

I had one roll that gave me a clog, (cleared it, and it clogged a second time, cleared it and switched filaments, and no more clogs) and when I sent a note to the company through Amazon’s system, they immediately refunded my money.  I threw that roll in the trash, and installed a new one, which worked just fine.
