Get inspired to work on summer projects! This mail is full of resources, links, and event dates. Save it and share it!

You probably saw pictures from Bay Area Maker Faire a few weeks ago. Are you inspired, yet still not sure where to start? Here's a few ideas:

Vancouver Maker Faire
June 6th and 7th

September 19th and 20th
@ EMP Museum

You still have time to apply to Seattle Maker Faire through the end of June. Click here to apply to participate in the event in one of four ways: present on the stage for twenty minutes, or host an exhibit booth all weekend, run a hands-on workshops, or display your huge project outside near the new Artists at Play installation.

Visit your local maker space or tool library. Join a class or stop by for a free tour. Here are just a few of the many maker spaces and tool libraries in western Washington:

FabLab Tacoma         http://www.fablabtacoma.com/

Is your favorite workshop not listed here? You can list your space here:

Still not sure what to make? How about fixing something you already own. Sharpen your garden tools, make a more comfortable handle, mend your outdoor gear, or paint an old bookshelf.

We'd love to see what you're making. Show us your project on Facebook, Twitter @MakerFaireSea, or on our blog comments.

Cheers,
