Thomaston shorebirds

Some exceptional close views of a small shorebird flock at Lyman-Morse Boatyard on Thomaston Harbor this early morning. A mixed flock of dunlin, white-rumped, semipalmated sandpiper and a couple of semipal plovers. Some were in crisp juvenile plumages.  The bonus bird was a juv. Hudsonian Godwit that landed mere feet away to begin feeding at the water's edge.
