Menu missing after update: deadlock

Hi,

When you open the combined InBox, there is no menu anymore to select
other accounts or folders. Which in itself is not an improvement but
can lead to the following deadlock:

When you set "default account to open: combined Inbox", you ONLY get
the combined inbox, which means THERE IS NO WAY TO ACCESS ANY OPTIONS
OR OTHER FOLDERS ANYMORE!

I was only able to correct this by sending myself a mail and reaching
a dedicated InBox directly via the notification message. Then I was
able to reset "default account to open" to "None"


Suggested Improvements:

Why does the menu button in the combined InBox not at least open the
"global preferences"?
Why does the "home" icon (the little house) not get me into the top
view, but instead throws me out of the app when I am in the default
account?

I really like maildroid, but I cannot see any improvements in the "new
streamlined interface"

And where is the fullscreen view in message reading mode gone? This
and the "expand headers" button were really usefull and seem to have
vanished. The bottom menu bar in message mode now takes one click more
to reply or forward, but still takes up valuable screen area.

Is it possible to revert to the previous version?


These are only a few strange interface decisions, please keep up the
excellent work in the app itself!

1. I loaded an old version and I never allowed the ability to go to
other folders from the combined inbox. Actually, I never even gave an
option to go to the global preferences screen. However, I am going to
add that as an option this morning
2. I am looking into the issue with the home view, I think it is
related to default account to open

The UI is more like android 3/4 which no longer has a menu button on
the device. Things are shown directly on the screen.

The new version 2.37 has fixed some things:

1. The combined inbox was missed by accident and was added back
2. I added a global preferences on the menu for combined inbox
3. The home screen works now for combined inbox, was broken before and
now will take you back to the accounts screen
4. There is a technical limitation which made me remove full screen
and hide headers. I added full screen back in the menu at the bottom
for now.

No, but at least you were able to get back to the account selection
screen.

My problem was that I was locked into the combined InBox with no
possibilty to get to any of my accounts and thus to the folders
associated with the individual accounts.

Summary: with option "default account to open: combined Inbox" set, I
was not able to access anything but the combined Inbox ever again.
