How to retrieve older mails through POP3

Hi there,

Is it possible to retrieve older read mails from my gmail inbox through POP3 method? I've tried sample codes on the github page, but it doesn't work. It seems like that Mail.all can only return all NEW messages to me.

Anyone know it?
