After this joyous occasion of Rang Panchami, MMLA is bringing you three exciting events in the coming months: “Anand Mela”, Marathi natak “Wah Guru” and “Geet Sandhya” by Shridhar Phadke. 

MMLA Anand Mela 2012
MMLA invites you all on April 21st at the Lawndale High School for a fun-filled “Anand Mela”.

Time: Saturday, 21st April, 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Cost: Members: Free
           Non-members: Adult ($5), Kids (up to 12 years Free)
           Walk-In Non-members: Adult ($10), Kids (up to 12 years, $5)
Venue: Lawndale High School
             14901 Inglewood Avenue, Lawndale, CA 90260.
Parking: Free
Activites:
           Food Stalls
           Mehendi
           Indoor and outdoor Games
           Tournaments: Chess, Carom and Box-Cricket
           Raffles, prizes, and many more
           Special Attraction: Musical night and prize distribution.

You can also participate in the event by setting up your own stalls for vending food, selling your own art, games, mehendi, face painting, etc. or to promote any other local initiatives. The registration for stalls and sports will begin on Sunday, March 24. The cost of setting up stalls and the rules will be available on the website soon. 

To participate in Cricket, Chess and Carom, please enroll on the website. No entries will be accepted at the registration desk on the day of the event.

MMLA is bringing you Marathi Natak - “Wah Guru” by Suyog on Saturday, May 12, 2012. The ticket prices will be published on the website soon.

MMLA Membership for 2012
We encourage you to take membership as the members get five events free during the year and a discount on all ticketed events organized by MMLA. In addition, the Marathi Book and DVD library is free for members. For 2012, annual membership is as follows:

Adult membership: $50
Children (3 to 12 years): $25
College Students: $35

Those who paid for the Sankrant event and/or Movie event can become members by paying the difference.
