Compile error in magit-diff.el while installing

Hi,
I installed latest version of dash.el

When i run the make lisp command to compile, i am getting the following error.

Magit's next branch requires at least Emacs 24.4.

Oh, thanks. Mine was Emacs 24.3.1
I shall update my Emacs.
