Wisconsin Environment's Citizen Outreach Director, Jeremy Letournel, is looking for a couple beekeepers willing to do a 5 minute TV news spot regarding the plight of bees, which is their focus for next year. They are interested in the perspectives of local beekeepers. The interview will take place on Madison's State Street on Tuesday, 11/24 between 10 & 11am. Jeremy can be reached at (202) 701-5324 or at jleto...@fundstaff.org.

Wisconsin Environment's strategy is based on a simple, but powerful idea: Each new person who joins the call to save the bees makes it more likely decision makers will feel compelled to do the right thing. which will be one of their focuses this coming year. Their mission is to urge the EPA to take action and have their grassroots staff mobilize local elected officials, citizens and others to get involved in this effort.

I contacted these people, and learned they have an agenda to have neonics banned by the EPA. They are making a short news film that they hope will be used by the network TV channels.

See their web stie, wisconsinEnvironment.org

Those of you opposed to neonics - this is your chance to be heard!!

Thanks!
