Subject: swarm near Cross Plains

Hi Jean,

I took your course on beekeeping a few years ago and started a few hives out near Cross Plains.  They are doing fantastic (thanks!) but the neighbor has just informed me there is a swarm in their tomatoes.  Not sure if its one of mine, but I don’t really have the equipment or space to start another hive, so I thought I’d contact the DCBA.  Let me know if somebody could collect them and I’ll contact the neighbors.

Thanks in advance for the help!

Tony Lauer

I am interested...
I could go there after work...
I got tons of empty equipment to fill up.
Unfortunately, I doubt I will make there before 6pm.
The swarm will probably not wait for me and will leave by then.

If anyone is willing and able to go grab them before I can - go ahead (just let me know if done so; I don't want to drive back and forth for nothing).
Thanks!

I have extra equipment and can go over lunch.

Anthony - can you send me an address separately?

Greg was right - they wouldn't have stayed until tonight, they were gone when I got there a little after noon.

Too bad.
Another feral-to-be swarm to settle in some hole in a wall somewhere and likely to die this winter...
