hey/hello.

Trying to find an owner/service manual for a dodge durango 2003.
Looking to find which fuse (either in the main fuse/relay box under
the front hood, or in the fuse panel next to the front door).

Searching online hasn't found a "free"pdf, and calling local
dealers/repair shops has resulted in the "we can't tell you over the
phone.. but if you come in we'll help for a fee!!"

Thanks!

O no! Not the stealership!  I've got a 99 Dakota, what are you doing with your Durango?

I think I have that manual, I am also familiar with the vehicle.

Hi Nad.

Couple of days ago discovered the rear brake lights apparently aren't
displaying. As far as I can tell it might be lights/fuse/switch/board.

However, the durango has two "fuse" blocks - one under the hood one
next to the driver's door in the side of the dashboard. In looking
online, I can't determine which fuse(s) are used in the rear brake
lights to do a quick replace to test if the fuses are the issue..

I'm going to work my way up with the prob.

lights
fuse
brake switch
board

And I'm hoping the issue is really the lights/fuse!

If I knew which fuse I need to pull/replace, it's a 5 min deal.

thanks

Scroll down the main page… Everything is there.

BUT WARNING… All the links to other references (Fuse Panel Diagram, 2005 Dodge Durango Fuse Box Diagram, Durango, and Electrical Fuses) take you into Ad-Spam-Hell….

So stay on the main page.

The fuse for your brake lights is typically in the interior panel; the exterior panel has larger/engine-related stuff.

Some good help suggestions here from the community.

Was this resolved? Did the suggesions help?

Hi Daniel.

The vehicle has a fuse/relay block under the hood with a diagram, as
well as in internal set of fuses next to the front driverside door.
The internal set of fuses also has a rough diagnostic display.
However, I could never find a doc that gives me an understanding of
which fuse controls the rear brake lights.

But I got lucky in that the current issue was solved by simply
replacing the brake lights on both sides!

I'd still like to have a basic/simple doc that says.. replace fuse at
location ABC for the rear brake lights!

Thanks..
