Hey all; I apologise for not announcing this sooner but I've been distracted by my latest kidney stone.

Once again I'm hosting a FREE Thanksgiving Dinner at the LVL1 Hackerspace this Thanksgiving: November 23rd.

Who should attend? EVERYONE!  But more specifically if you or someone you know don't have a place to be on Thanksgiving you are heartily encouraged to join us!  If you know a student or single person or someone traveling for work or whatever please let them know they are more than welcome to join us.  This is a kid-friendly event, insofar as something at LVL1 can be, with the usual rules applying of course.

Want to avoid a certain family member, perhaps due to politics?  Well worry not!  We're a real charity so you can let them know that you will be selflessly volunteering at a Charity Dinner and come hang out with some friendly nerds!  Be sure to sweep up a bit or clean something to keep your conscious clear!

I am accepting donations to help cover the costs of the meal (which I will really appreciate; this kidney stone has wiped out my finances entirely -- I've got less than $50 to my name currently).

I will cover the basics as best I can given the donations I get and I would like to encourage you to sign up to bring something yourself if you like by adding yourself to this planning document:

Please let me know if you're planning or thinking of attending so that I can have a good idea of what amount of food to plan for.

I hope to see you there!

Blenster

Count us in, Chris and Janis Reifsteck. Added pumpkin pies and whipped cream to the Google doc.

Hey Ben,

I'd like to help with the cash supply before the feast. Afterwards seems somehow less-immediately helpful. Got stuck late at work Tuesday, and missed the meeting. If it sounds helpful, suggest a time/place to meet, or call me at my shop 459-5554 Wednesday.
