Laser help today?

Good mornin' ya'll! 

I wanted to come to the space to put final touches on my Sumo Bot. Is anyone going to be at the space today that would be willing to run me through operating one of the lasers? I'm going to try to quickly prototype a frame with some cardboard then finish it up with some thin plywood. I've read through the Wiki on the small laser and it seems pretty straightforward, but I like talking to humans if anyone has experience with it.
