Just wondering if anyone has had luck getting the pen and gravimeter
(auto screen rotation) to work on a Lenovo Yoga ultrabook. My old X61 is
starting to fail me after 8 years of reliable service and Tiger Direct
is selling the Yoga 12 (last year's model) for $600.

Just looking for first-hand experience. I have tried how-to articles,
not had much luck.
I have one at work, so I can test the install before I open my wallet.

Hmmm. Or maybe not?

This explains why the X1 Yoga (20FR) needed a proprietary driver to see
the internal SSD

Here is a link to the Yoga 2 Pro page for Linux installation. on that
page is a link to some scripts to use the accelerometers in the Yoga 2
to trigger screen rotation and keyboard shut off. I never tried them,
but there might be some useful links for you to follow for your Yoga:

Hi,

I would suggest looking into this before purchasing to see if it impacts the model you are considering.

Not on this model. The newer X1 has this "feature".
I have installed Linux successfully on the Yoga-12.
I just cant get the auto screen rotate or the stylus buttons to work.
