Dear LUGers,

It's that time of year again! *Flourish! 2014* is just around the corner.
This year we will be hosting Flourish! on April 5th in Student Center East.

I am sure most of you are anxious to attend but before you can do that you
must register at the Flourish! website: http://www.flourishconf.com/2014/

Attending Flourish is *free.*

*If you register before March 19th,*
*you will reserve you a free T-Shirt. *
For those of you who don't know, Flourish! is a student-led conference held
at UIC. This year will be the eighth annual conference to promote the use
and adoption of open source by demonstrating the practical applications of
open source the business and academic world.

Everyone is welcome to attend. Throughout the day, we will have many
speakers presenting about a variety of topics ranging from open data to
mobile apps and more.

If you would like to become a part of us financially, we would be
delighted. Sponsorship has helped us quite a bit in the past with providing
attendees more interactive pieces to the conference, like social networking
events, as well as helping us with keeping our attendees comfortable and
well fed by the end of the day :)
