Hi All

we are testing webservices scri[ts with LR 11, applicaiton server is
jboss 5.1

our target is to get more number of TPS for eg 125 , response time
<200 ms and error should be 5% less for overall test execution

when i am testing with more no of vusers we are getting this below
error 1000 vuser +

---------------------------

True,1,Error -108903:Action.c(12) Error ExtractResultArg failure

Are you monitoring all of your load generators? Is the error isolated
to one load generator or does it cross multiple generators? Do you
have any included pacing or think time in your scripts?

Hi James

thanks for your relpy , we have 6 lgs so far and all LGs are utilized 100% fully ( cpu and memory ) ,and the errors i captured from analysis (errors per second by description ) i have requested the team to provide more LGs

client does not want pacing and think time in script .

i have asked to look into  active connection in the application server  , also i have requested them to check cpu and memory in application server .

Thanks in advance

Wait, what?

Why would you not include some sort of pacing or think time? Are you using a goal oriented scenario to arrive at the desired TPS?

Otherwise, what is the TPS you are actually getting with this scenario? Keep in mind 10 users could bring any application to its knees without some sort of pacing involved.

Your client is dumb as a rock when it comes to performance testing:  Your client has just asked you to violate the client-server architectural model.

The simple fact that all of your LGs are running at 100% on both CPU and Memory should tell you something is very very wrong.   Your error is likely self induced from your test design

i am using manual scenario to achieve tps 125,i executed the test for 1200 vusers with 6 lgs ( each lg 200vusers)

the test got good result with 2,75000 thousand passed and failed was 1200 , error was less than one percent .

but if i run with more no of users ,errors and failed tranaction are more .
