I received this...unsure what to do with it.
Dear Loveland CreatorSpace creatives,
CU-Boulder is offering a new summer course that may be of interest to Loveland CO CreatorSpace friends, colleagues and creative hackers.
May I ask your help in spreading the word?
Interactive Programming for Electronic Music and Art
July 7 – August 7, 2015
http://atlas.colorado.edu/pure-data-pd-programm...
Participants will develop interactive applications for interactive art, robotics, and music using Pure Data's (Pd's) graphical programming environment. The 4-week course is taught by Pd and Max MSP developer, author and University of California music faculty, Miller Puckette.
An open-source graphical programming language, Pd was developed for computer music synthesis but its robust and flexible architecture has been put to work on a much wider range of applications.
In addition to musicians and composers, Pd attracts artists, multimedia hackers, scientists, robotics and physical computing enthusiasts, haptics researchers (virtual 3D tactile modeling) and many others working at the intersection of science, engineering and the arts.
This 4-week introduction to Pd is designed as a creative, hands-on experience. Students will present final projects during the last week of class as part of High Altitude Music Week, featuring an exciting lineup of talented guest artists and performers, including Miller Puckette (full details available soon).
If you're interested in interactive art and music synthesis, or if you're a robotics or physical computing enthusiast looking to expand your programming toolkit alongside a community of creative innovators, this class is for you. No prior experience is required.

A member of MIT’s Media Lab when it opened its doors in 1985, he later joined l’Institut de Recherche et de Coordination Musique/Acoustique. An accomplished musician and experienced performer, he currently serves on the faculty of the music department at the University of California, San Diego.
Thank you for your help in letting friends and colleagues know about this unique new class.
