password policy to not reuse same password

I have being trying to add a password policy to my application, by maybe extending the validation but I haven't being able to, is there an easy way to do this, like extending the setter for user password?

if so can you guys provide a small example of how to do it, Im new to loopback :).

Would seriously appreciate it.
