Profiling : CPU profiler unavailable without compiled add-on

I have run the following command [ slc ctl cpu-start 1 ]  to profile CPU usage of profiler-demo-app ( https://github.com/strongloop/profiler-demo-app.git )

I got the following error : 

Command "cpu-start" on "http://127.0.0.1:8701" failed with Error: CPU profiler unavailable without compiled add-on

I am running strongloop on ubuntu 14.04 

I have read the following articles on docs but i can't find solution :
