Senior Scala/Java Developer - Permanent

As a Developer, you will report to the Development Manager and will be responsible for working on enhanced features and a suite of personalization products. This will include day to day work with Java 7 and Scala (heavy multi-threading code), Spring + Hibernate Mvc Framework, SQL and NoSQL dbs.

Core Competencies Required:

Excellent experience with the following technologies:
Spring Mvc
Hibernate with hibernate annotations
HTML + css + javascript, JQuery, AJAX and JSON
Jdk 7
Scala
Scalatest, JUnit, TDD
Multithreading is essential
Maven, GIT, SVN.
Excellent problem solving skills;
Ability to work on multiple projects and in team;
Understands the value of commitments and puts 100% effort into them;
Exposure of MS SQL and MySQL
Basic knowledge of Linux commands and scripting
Exposure to an Agile environment;
Good written and verbal communication skills;
Eligible to work in and are currently based in the UK
