I’m currently working at UTD, which is London’s hottest new technology start-up. Its founder is Anthony Rose, who is globally recognised as the former Head of BBC iPlayer and more recently the Founder of Beamly (formerly Zeebox).

We’re looking for a very talented Scala Developer to join our Covent Garden office, I’m hoping you may be open to a “no strings attached” chat or maybe point us in the direction of somebody you recommend? 

UTD understands that the world’s best products (Uber, LinkedIn, airbnb) take the friction and inefficiencies with which we lead our lives and make them go away. Our mission is to remove the friction in how we meet and connect with new people. We want to introduce strangers that ought to be friends based on their interests, passions and experiences in a way that has never been done before!

We're half way through building the founding team. These initial team members will be the inventors, creators and shareholders of a brand new platform that uses advanced machine learning and data mining to create a brand new product that solves the problem of how we meet and connect with people. We are hiring a crack team inc a CTO, Data Scientists, iOS Engineers, Scala Developers, all inc generous stock options.
