Scala Developer Contract, Central London, Approx £500/day (3-6 months)

Hi All,
We have a new opening at one of our clients for a Scala contractor (Approx £450-500 daily rate). It will be based in Central London, initially a minimum of 3 months with the likelihood to extend to 6 months.
They are looking for a developer to join an existing team of experienced Scala developers. There is a specific data centric project in mind that recently started 3 months ago. There is still a large portion of new development to be completed alongside reworking an existing product. The project is currently behind schedule and they would like someone to come in with good commercial experience of delivering Scala based projects to help bring it back on course. The company specialise in data heavy publishing software and customer facing digital products.
The team is mature in agile, they have a continuous delivery pipeline and would ideally like someone that shares their thoughts about what makes high quality code, TDD and DevOps. The technology stack would consist of Scala, Play2, AngularJS, Docker, Microservices to name a few.. experience in these areas would definitely be beneficial.
Requirements
- Experience in a commercial Scala environment / Delivery of key Scala projects
- Strong knowledge of the Scala language
- Good Knowledge of Restful webservices and/or microservices
- Advocate of TDD
It would be beneficial to have the following;
- Software Engineering or Computer Science Degree (or equivalent)
- Play! or Akka
- Continuous Delivery
- DevOps
