We have a brand new position which came live yesterday for a long term exclusive client of ours, as always, please find details below;

We are looking working with a highly regarded, technology organisation who are looking for Scala Developers to join one of the largest ecommerce sites in the UK.

This organisation are at a point of extensive growth and are looking for Mid Level up to Senior/Architect level Scala Developers to join their company at a point of rapid success within numerous small teams within a greater technology team.

You will be responsible for building out new Scala API’s, working alongside  a highly talented team working on a variety of complex projects within a fast paced and technically stretching environment. Working with technologies and frameworks such as Scala, Akka, Play,

It is very important for this position that you are adaptable to high growth and fast paced environments, within a TDD and highly agile, continuous delivery focused teams.

You will also need to be able to demonstrate a strong passion and knowledge of Scala and a strong functional style in your code and experience.

The ideal person for this position will have worked within a team where Scala is or has become the primary language. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take the next step within their career and progress alongside leading lights within the Scala community.
