One of the most successful technology start up companies in the UK are looking for a Senior Scala Software Engineer/Architect to join their talented technical team. Based in Central London, this company is well established within the Scala community, and seeks someone to help them develop their exciting existing and new entertainment services.
You will be working on a variety of exciting project and products making use of a very progressive technology stack architecting, developing and designing with Scala as the primary language.
It is essential that for this position you have extensive experience developing, designing and architecting with Scala and functional programming languages. We are looking for someone who is passionate about computer science and writing clean, robust code.
We are also looking for someone who has an excellent track record with Amazon Web Services and working within an Agile and TDD environment, who are passionate about technology and working within a team who love Open Source.
As the Senior Scala Developer/Architect, you will be working on improving, developing and architecting backend systems. You will be collaborating with a team of likeminded individuals in order to provide a successful and efficient integrated backend service.
Although not essential, a degree in Computer Science or similar subject would be beneficial to your application.
You will be working within a technical team who are passionate about sharing ideas and approaches and finding the best way of doing things with the most up to date technologies. If you are keen on working within a creative and highly technical team then this role would be well suited to you.
