We are looking for a Senior Scala Developer to join a global and highly successful start up, based in the heart of London’s Tech City.

This Senior Scala Development position will involve responsibilities working on a high performance financial platform within a buzzing start up environment with technologies such as Scala, Akka, Akka Clustering and Slick.

The ideal person for this position is someone who is looking to move into a start up who are in an extremely positive in direction, both in the business and reaching the heights of modern technology.

It is essential for this position that you have experience using Scala as a primary language within a senior capacity. It is key that you have worked with and can demonstrate excellent Scala knowledge, if you have experience particularly with Akka, Play, Clustering, AWS or Slick, then you would be a very good fit.

We are looking for someone who can be proactive within a role, working with the latest Open Source technologies who can be adaptable to multiple environments.

If you are passionate about Computer Science and have a technical degree then this will be extremely beneficial to your application. We are looking for someone who is proactive about new ideas and technologies and finding the best technical solutions with the user in mind.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who has been working with Scala as the primary language and can bring their knowledge and technical expertise to improve an already successful brand.

We will also consider Senior Python/Django Developers, looking for a move into Scala or who have worked with Scala.
