I'm currently working on a brand new role with a very cool technology company based in West London. They started up in 2008, and have grown to around 1200 employees since, amassing a customer base of approximately 700,000. They essentially offer a completely alternative platform for consumers to provide themselves with bespoke packages for their utilities - i.e. managing their electricity and gas supply, tailored to their needs.

Their back end is built in Scala, Akka, Spray, Play and Kafka/Spark, in a microservices environment, where they practice complete TDD/BDD in a Continuous Delivery pipeline, and they're searching for Scala Engineers to come on board with them to join their team of around 70 technologists.

They're working on a lot of projects at the minute, from building greenfield services through to utilising huge customer data sets to gain valuable insights, through to designing & building brand new products entirely.
