Our client, a
global online sportsbetting and gaming company in London, is looking for a
highly skilled Senior/Lead Scala Developer to build a new international betting platform.
The role, within
a highly collaborative agile environment, would suit a passionate developer
with extensive experience in Scala or a strong Java8 developer with exposure and interest in transitioning to Scala.
For the right developer
this position will significantly influence the delivery and success of this key
project.
You will fulfill a lead/ senior role in driving forward a newly formed development team and delivering an industry leading platform, in an environment which nurtures learning and builds skills using the latest technology in a growing industry.
Experience you’ll need:
- You will possess software development expertise with considerable experience of Scala
- You will have a detailed understanding and expert experience of Akka, Cassandra and/or Kafta
- You will be experienced working in a highly agile working environment
- You have expert knowledge with Clustering, Sharding Regions, Persistence, CQRS, Reactive Microservices and NoSQL
- In this role you will use your fantastic communication skills and share your knowledge extensively with other great technologists
