I came in last night and found the metalbashers locker broken into, all the batteries missing etc...

The one working torch is also missing this morning, leaving only the torch which somebody has broken by threading the top so you can't put a tip on it (£100 quid replacement cost)

Could anybody explain how this happened?

Ouch :/ if it helps at all I didn't notice anything amiss at about 10pm last night when I was packing up.

This is awful news, particularly after all the hard work and donations from the metal bashers group.

Will a review of the video feed provide any clues?

Was anyone else down there with you? If so and you know who they are, then we might be able to narrow down the time gap further.

I don't remember going into it, from memory it wasn't hanging open with its batteries missing.

Its a shame if someone stole the gas I had down there as was about to donate the 90% remaining in the bottle to the space.

There was a cylinder with your name on it,  at a glance it asked to not be used and actually only had a little in it according to the pressure gauge

Looks like the contents has been nicked, lesson learned I guess

So we have a midnight theif-welder. Do the cams / doorbot logs give us an idea who it was? Surely the welding would show up on the workshop cam?

Does this also explain why one of our(shed crew) floor lamps was nicked and found in the metal workshop?

The halogen light was used by me and not put back as the guy welding with me did not know where to put it and I left early - I got it from the front of the caravan in the yard - apologies if this caused confusion

Cheers

Dean

It's the fact they were taken without permission and then broken by those using it that's the problem, not confusion.

Hi All,

I have refitted the lock to the metal bashers locker, fitted new battery's and reset the code.

Can we get a time line from when the last person knew the locker was all locked up and in place.

If we are going to ask Jasper to look through the CCTV footage is only reasonable that we give him as much possible information.

Regards

Liam

So its ok for you to break into our stuff and take things but not cool for someone that do the same with the locker?

@Tom Its not OK to break in and take anything - read the posts, the halogen lighting was in the yard and not stored securely any where or labelled
