Any one interested in one of these (not exactly the same - a slight variation):

http://www.civildefensemuseum.com/southrad/brit-meter-1a.html

including bag. Makes a lovely housing to put your MP3 radio in; or to connect a bar-code scanner too (And frequent a local super market with it).

I gave a surplus one to Gwyn for a reality-game. And he is done with it - but I am not terribly interested in getting it back. (Do note that using it at is, while possible, requires messing with DC voltages of 100 volt and over (DC!) (and yes - such batteries do exist)).

Thanks,

Dw.

Well, it would be a fabulous prop for a LARP I'm playing in next month, but I don't think I'd make enough use of it in the longer term to do such a cool thing justice.

It certainly did spur a quick Google for Stirling engine kits, yes.

Gwyn,

Could you work with Nick to get the beast to him ? And if he is done with it - sounds there are more people after his LARP.
