Keeps jamming in upper area

Should be reason, as someone put A4 paper wrong to A3 loads and do not setup correct size of paper?
At tray 3, which ia obviously used for A3 format, is now A4 paper.
At tray, where suppose A4 was empty.
Printer expecting continuing of paper and coming nothing.
