Mitsuibishi Shogun 4x4

by Calum Richard Millbank-Murphy
27th Jun 2016 - 11th Jul 2016
Request for 14 days in the yard (Wherever it's least intrusive)

I'll be fixing it up to pass it's MOT and be ready to drive to Wales. It was a runner before storage so should be straightforward to get back on the road. I'll be working on it pretty much everyday and only need standard automotive hand tools to get teh job done.

***If no one replies to this topic the request will be automatically approved within 7 days.***

So - hilariously in my storage request, I banged on about not wanting a difficult life, and how I would be done before the end of my storage request and how I'd minimise oil spills.....
Unsurprisingly, I got the wonderful summer flu, which put me out of action for 3 days, I spilled some oil (which I promptly and thoroughly cleaned up) and am now behind on getting the truck MOT'able by about 5 days.

Would the space kindly grant me an extension until Friday 15th July to get the Shogun sorted and out, citing my main reason as "work held up due to illness" - FYI the truck runs and is operable (I've repositioned it in the courtyard) it needs just a bit more time...!

Hi

I don't think there will be any objection to this extension.

Can you give us a bit more info on what's left to do and how long you think it'll take? No point asking for a 5 day extension or whatever if the work will realistically take 10 days.

Good luck regardless, I know what things can be like, I done a gearbox swap of my Land Rover in the yard.

Things to do include: tyres pumped, interior bulbs changed, (all exterior bulbs are fine and mot ready) and vehicle generally MOT point checked. I wasn't able to do it today as I was focused on just getting it running and cleanup. But it's all tentatively okay. I won't ask for more time on this because quite frankly I don't have any more time to give to it. I'm fixing it up to give to a friend but I've got a ton of other things to do so...Friday 15th is Drive or Die day for the Shogun...

Apologies for the delay,

The scrapper should pick up the vehicle tomorrow or Friday - I haven't got any response from any members wanting a bargain (any offer at this point is valid)...

The vehicle will be out by Friday latest - apologies again for this.

If anyone is interested in this - or if the space can use this - please let me know!!!

Regards,

Calum

This is past its deadline and needs removing immediately.
This isn't a breaker's yard the whole vehicle needs taking away.
