Our trustee in charge of membership wrote this awesome manual. I'm so
proud of it I've decided to share it with other Hackspace.

I really welcome any feedback or question you may have.

That's it.  We're not messing around anymore, we're buying a bigger dictionary.  -  Tibor Fischer, The Thought Gang.

A very imformative and profesional document, is this just a PDF which
people download or do have printed copies to show prospective
members / visitors ?

This is most excellent. London should create a similar document.

At the moment just PDF, but the plan is to print and bind some for the
space. I think a few finishing touches are being made just before
that!

For another good example, http://www.fablabsuk.co.uk/2011/11/a-fab-lab-for-e5000-and-in-seven-days/

The space is http://fablabamersfoort.nl/?nl/home and the manual can
be found here, http://fablabamersfoort.nl/downloads/fablab-instructable.pdf

It's a very nice example of how, with a clear focus, you can set
somewhere up quickly...

It's not the cheapest of set-up's, but with manufacturing the
equipment at another space, then it's easily bootstrap-able with
little cost.
