Hello,

following the flurry of questions concerning access to Digital
GIS/mapping boundaries, Please find below a few links which will give
you access to some data for the UK (and beyond)

http://mapit.mysociety.org/- Type in a postcode and it will return the
digital boundary you which for that given location, from county level
down to lower super output area. Formats: KML, GEOJSON

http://download.geofabrik.de/- data in shapefile format for MOST
administrative boundaries in the world, usually down to local authority
or county.
Map projection is simplegeo Lat/Lng

http://geocommons.com/- Free as well, but a bit more disorganized....

http://ogre.adc4gis.com/- A really useful Ogr 2 Ogr client which
converts different types of geo formats.

Please also note that the below data sources are all open source- do
keep in mind that the majority of digital boundary datafiles are
projected in Lat/Lng and not in National Grid projection (which is still
used by Orndance Survey in the UK)

Any questions, do let me know!!

Max
