Hi all,
I attended the d3.js meetup last week and enjoyed the talks - I'll definitely be coming along to the next ones.
I'm a developer and I've used d3.js in quite a few projects for clients and fun (and Protovis a few years ago) - however I also do quite a bit of UX design (where by design I mean structure & interactions rather than look-and-feel).
Makato mentioned looking for future speakers, and I wondered whether people would be interested in me giving a bit of a talk covering some ground on what kinds of graphs and visualisations work best in different types of scenarios? I'm by no means a complete expert in this complex field, but I could talk about some basic principles and my experience, and then would be interested to know what others think.
Would that work?
Cheers,
Frankie
