Hi, guys.

Sorry for being quiet lately.

Here is the London d3.js March meetup detail.

We have Brian Gough going to talk about "Shareable data objects - using D3 for data intgegration", but have one more slot for speaking.

Please let me know if anyone is up for a talk. If not, we go to pub earlier.

PS: Please do register via EventBrite, as we need the info for security check at the door.

Cheers.

For those of you who accessed the eventbrite page but could not access, can you try again?

I set the ticket end date to last year by mistake. My bad copy & paste.

Hello all.

Thank you very much for coming to our meetup last night.

Here is the slide of my talk

Hopefully Brian will post link to his talk slide, too.

I will just follow up a few topics came out during the meetup.

- enter/exit = it's also called "data join" and this is the classic blog post explaining it http://bost.ocks.org/mike/join/
- reusable pattern = http://bost.ocks.org/mike/chart/ . There is also a book that talks a lot deeper about the pattern at http://bleedingedgepress.com/our-books/developing-a-d3-js-edge/

If you have any other tips, and useful url, please post here.

Thanks.

Makoto

Hello

Nice to meet everyone last night, thanks again to the organisers and sponsors.

I have uploaded my slides here:

Sibdocity's website is http://www.sibdo.com/ and there are demos on http://www.sibdo.com/examples/ that you can edit in JSFiddle (that page takes a while to load due to the number of charts on it).

You can get the free Sibdo javascript library by registering on www.sibdo.com if you want to play with it.
It is Creative commons licence for non-commercial use, or free trial for commercial users.

If anyone has any other questions just let me know.

Cheers
Brian Gough

All the best!
