Dear LNC:

The Chair and I have signed a contract with an individual to serve in
the staff role of candidate recruiting specialist. Any LNC member
wanting to know the individual's name should contact me or Nick
privately, but should not release the name until we release it publicly.
I expect we'll release the name in an announcement sometime this week.
We want to do a nice write-up about it to accompany the announcement but
I wanted to let you all know about it before hand.

We're hiring a new candidate support specialist as well. I expect to announcement the name for that position on November 8. We have not signed a contract for that position yet, so I don't have a name to privately provide yet, but expect to probably within a few days. A lot of great people applied for these positions.

Recruiting 2,000 candidates is a big job. We worried that someone so heavily focused on recruiting 2,000 candidates would not have enough time to provide the support we want to provide to certain candidates in strategic races, so, we're two people. Even then, it's a job for 10 people. So they'll need lots of help from a team of volunteers.
