Dear Libertarian comrades,

I recently came across a t-shirt design (see attached photo) that I think could be good for us with a slight modification, so that it reads "WON'T STOP UNTIL WE'RE FREE". This could be coupled with additional elements, such as the Statue of Liberty, the party name and logo, etc., on the front and/or back. I think a prominent "WON'T STOP" message printed on clothing would be popular due to suggested connotations of personal fitness, determination, endurance, etc., as well as good messaging in terms of expressing pride in long-term commitment to the LP and the cause of freedom for which we stand.

I also think using the image of a broken chain could be visually effective either in conjunction with this slogan, or as a visual element in other party materials. For example, the second graphic below was a very rough mock-up of a concept I came up with when we were talking about logo change ideas during the 2012-2014 LNC term – the Torch of freedom symbolically heating and breaking a linked chain from below, with Lady Liberty gazing through from behind the shattered chain.

I'd also like to suggest again that we look into significantly expanding the range of merchandise we offer, both clothing and non-clothing items. A few items

Oops, I see that I accidentally sent this email before I finished writing it! I was going to come up with a list of some other various items we might consider carrying, from "Screw the State" corkscrews to Lady Liberty beach towels, but I don't want to take the time to do so right now. There are lots of day-to-day items that many people routinely need and use; if a wide variety of such items were available via the LP Store at reasonable prices with party and/or movement branding/messaging on them, I think many of our supporters would go there to meet more of their needs for supplies and sundries.
