how to get the postfix mail log with out syslog?

I install Postfix in my Linux system,but there is'n syslog in it.
And then ,when i send mail with postfix ,I got an error,In this case ,how can I get the mail log?

Which system do you use ?

Postfid log problems and normal activity to the syslog daemon so your syslog/rsyslog may have the severity "none" to the "mail" class.

Try setting mail.* -/var/log/maillog and restart syslog/rsyslog.
