Thinking about doctest support in ltest

Hey all,

I've been running into the classic problem of aging code examples, and would like to add doctest support to ltest to address this. I've created a ticket here:

If you have thoughts, ideas, opinions, etc., could you comment on that ticket? I'd like to take those into consideration during the "hammock" phase of this work ...
