ከዚህ በፊት ያገኘሁት እንደሚከተለው ነው፤

Video    ቪዲዮ 
Film    አልተተረጎመም ግን ፊልም የተባለ ይመስላል።
Movie    አልተተረጎመም ግን ፊልም የተባለ ይመስላል።

የኔ ጥያቄ፤
የሆነ ቦታ ላይ ከሦስቱ አንዱ "ተላዋሽ" ተብሎ ተተርጉሞ ማየቴን አስታውሳለሁ። ሁሉም ግን አልተተረጎሙም ነበር።
ልክ እንደ Post/Paste ሦስቱንም በአንድ ቃል ማጠቃለል እንችላለን? ለምሳሌ ተላዋሽ። ግን ተላዋሽ እዚህ ላይ ላይስማማ ይችላል። አማርኛ እንዲሆን በጣም እመኛለሁ።

ከዚህ በፊት በዚህ ጉዳይ ላይ በከፊል የተነጋገርን ቢሆንም በትክክል አልወሰንም። አሁን ያደረኩት ከ ኤክሰል ዝርዝሩ ውስጥ የሚዛመዱትን እንዲቀል በማሰብ ለጥየ አውጥቻቸው ነው። //ፋተ

For our context Movie and Film are synonyms. They're have the same meanings. I must say English tripped on that one :-). So we don't need to worry and simply use ፊልም.

However we need to differentiate Video. All movies/films are videos, but not all videos are movies. For eg., music clips, documentaries, interviews, shows, etc. We need to use ቪዲዮ for it.

I too read that word somewhere. I think it was ተልወስዋሽ ምስሎች or something. I think all of us can agree that we're better off without this awkward failed experiment somebody had.
