2017年12月9-10日、国立国語研究所において NINJAL国際シンポジウム “Exploiting Parsed Corpora: Applications in Research, Pedagogy, and Processing” を開催します。

Susan Pintzuk氏、Anthony Kroch氏、Beatrice Santorini氏、Sean Wallis氏、Nianwen Xue氏、Liesbeth Augustinus氏ら、この分野で先端的な研究を行っている研究者の招待講演を行います。

シンポジウムでは、ポスターセッションも行われます（ポスターも含め、発表はすべて英語で行われます）。ポスターでの参加を希望する方は、2017年10月1日までに、アブストラクト（英文、A4用紙1ページ程度）を corpora_ap...@ninjal.ac.jp 宛にお送りください。2017年10月31日までに、採否についてご連絡します。なお、NINJAL ではポスターセッション参加者の旅費については負担できませんので、あらかじめご了承ください。

本シンポジウムは国立国語研究所（理論・対照研究領域）の機関拠点型基幹研究プロジェクト「統語・意味解析コーパスの開発と言語研究」が主催するものです。

My name is Prashant Pardeshi. I am pleased to announce that the National Institute for Japanese Language and Linguistics (NINJAL) will host an International Symposium, “Exploiting Parsed Corpora: Applications in Research, Pedagogy, and Processing” Dec 9-10, 2017 in Tachikawa, Tokyo. Topics to be covered include the development and enrichment of parsed corpora, linguistic research using parsed corpora, and the application of parsed corpora to language pedagogy. Invited speakers are leaders in the field, including Susan Pintzuk, Anthony Kroch, Beatrice Santorini, Sean Wallis, Nianwen Xue, and Liesbeth Augustinus. 

A poster session is also planned. Those interested in presenting a poster, please send a A4 one-page abstract to [corpora_ap...@ninjal.ac.jp] by 1 October 2017. Notification of acceptance will be sent out by 31 October 2017. Please be aware travel costs or other expenditures cannot be subsidized by NINJAL.

This symposium is organized under the project "Development of and Research with a Parsed Corpus of Japanese" in the Theory and Typology Division of NINJAL.
