Now that Lift 3.0.1 builds for 2.12.x, we need the lift modules

Hi,

Now that we released Lift 3.0.1 built for scala 2.12.1, we'll need to publish all the lift modules to cross compile scala versions too.

Did we move the modules to travis too or are they still in cloubees?

(Note that most of these modules are handled by the lift committers, but we like keeping conversations in the open, unless they is no benefit at all for anyone to see what we are talking about, in this case, if you have a module you wrote for lift, or we miss to update any of them, you can also use this thread)

Thanks

Diego

The module builds weren’t deleted from cloudbees, so they are there for reference, but I don’t suggest we use them. Setting up a travis build for each would make sense.

Good news: since the last time we published modules, an sbt plugin (sbt-sonatype) is now available to make publishing much easier.

It probably makes sense to take a module and…

- update it to use the sbt plugin
- update the module for Lift 3.x
- publishing it
- setting up a travis build for each module so we know it builds

Probably makes sense to take one (e.g., AMQP) and work through it.

That sounds like a great plan! Are you volunteering to update the AMQP ? :)

Hi,

I have updated the build.sbt for the widgets, imaging and machine modules which I needed for an older project of mine. I did not do any travis setup for auto-publishing (I guess I could not do that anyway) but I could still send PRs for the rest.

Cheers

I published mapperauth for Scala 2.11 and 2.12, no Travis integration.

Thank you rike — those PRs are all merged now, published, and release notes added in github. Let me know if you have any problems using the published builds.

The READMEs are all updated for AMQP, Widgets, Machine, Imaging.

If anyone uses any of the other modules, PRs welcome, or let me know if you need help.

Have a great xmas
Cheers
