semver as official version format starting with 3.0.1

Hi,

For the most part, Lift has use the version format of major.minor , like Lift 2.2, 2.5, 2.6
But while we had Lift 3.0 in the making, a couple of security issues were found so we released 2.6.1, 2.6.2, etc.

Antonio had suggested in the past moving to semver [0] officially , that would mean the next release of lift 3.x would be 3.0.1 (which is the same as the 3.0 just released but built for scala 2.12, as well as 2.11.x)

Does anyone see any issues with this?
