Hello hello,

I've been thinking about our discussions in that earlier thread, and really wanna start writing documentation.

'less someone has a better idea (and I'm all ears) I was thinking that maybe we can add a "Guides" section under "Resources" on liftweb.net? I've noticed that quite a few libraries have a guides section, from Scala to Ruby on Rails.

I felt like there are essentially two paths, update old documentation or create new. Maybe it's the `val` in me, but I'd rather create new. Really I wish I knew which document would be the most useful but without a crystal ball that's kinda tough.

If that sounds ok with y'all, I'ma start an outlining what I see as the first guide, Getting Started. I know [the site already has a Getting Started section](http://www.liftweb.net/getting_started) but I don't think that's much of an issue. We can deal with it when the document's done :)

Boogie on,

Ari

PS. A potential downside to create a new set of documentation is that it's just something else to go stale. Really, all that I can say to that is it ain't gonna go stale :)

I'm down for starting it and seeing how it fits into the current getting started guide.
Thanks,
Antonio
