sbt installation fails

Hi there,

while I tried to install lift - following the current description in http://liftweb.net/download - I got lost in the sbt installation.
Before I could start

container:start
I am ending up with UNRESOLVED DEPENDENCIES: org.json4s#json4s-native_2.10;3.2.10: not found
followed by exceptions.
Unfortunately I am not familiar with sbt.

Could anybody give me a hint please?
Is the only way to get the system up and running this sbt stuff?
Or is there a possibility to get a complete lift without sbt?
I have already the current scala version running.

Hi Alex,

I just tried and it worked for me, I noticed we had the wrong version on the page, so here are the steps I took:

$ cd lift-lift_26_sbt-3c4742e/

$ ll

total 8

$ cd scala_211/

what are the exact steps you are taking?

And even though it didn't work at first, sbt is the easiest way to get started, we'll guide you more until you get there.

I started again ... and after I have probably downloaded the other half part of the whole internet ... it worked.
