new database benchmark against leveldb

Dear all

I'm developing a new key/value database, and I'm doing a benchmark against Leveldb. The problem is that my database is RAM only database, and LevelDB is not, and mine is between 3 and 4 times faster than leveldb. To make a more realistic benchmark I should configure LevelDB as a RAM only database, but I couldn't find a way to do it.

Can anyone give any suggestion?

Have you tried storing LevelDB on a ramdisk?
