This closes #526: @persistence doesn't retain tags and links (uA's).
Rob, the OP, reports all is well. Imo, the only way to test this more thoroughly is to make it available in master.
Any problems that might exist should be limited to attributes in @auto nodes. Still, this is a change to Leo's read/write code. All such changes are significant. Please be sure to report anything strange immediately.
