A new setting, True by default so default behavior doesn't change.
When False, it suppresses the headlines search feature, which I am finding increasingly irritating and confusing. It's too easy for me to have a finger slip off the ctrl key, with the result that I am suddenly taken to another node. YMMV.

I too find it irritating and disorienting. Good addition.
